Total Area: 55,000 sq.ft.

When we took over the Kingfisher Mumbai
project, the building was in a dilapidated state. With ceiling
height of seven feet and a structure that could not be demolished,
we were given the daunting task of converting this guest
house into Dr Vijay Mallya's (MD, Kingfisher) corporate
office. Since the façade could not be touched we did structural
glazing on it and added steel 'fins' - a representation
of the line of business. After having provided a brand-new
look to the exterior, we took over the interiors and redefined
it with clean, straight lines. Since low ceiling height
was a hindrance, we divided the ground floor into lower
and upper ground floor. The basement currently contains
a swish cafeteria and the first floor has been converted
into the MD's office. The liberal use of glass, mirrors,
lighting and the colour white have given the space a non-cluttered,
elegant look.
