Location: Chennai

The client was looking at a typical Ayurvedic spa in Chennai. But when we studied the location and the cityscape, we knew that this spa had to be differentiated from the rest to ensure good business for the client. To compliment the typical Kerala-style Ayurvedic spa, we infused international design but stuck to use of sustainable material. The facilities we are using are the latest in the business; like jacuzzi and floatation tanks. The basic idea, however, is to create a space where the client is treated not only physically but also mentally through visual therapy. A mist-pool at the centre of the facility, with temperature lower than the usual Chennai climate, is only one of the ways we plan to do that.
